Bangladesh, July 7, 2023: In a remarkable operation conducted at midnight on July 7th, 2023, the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) successfully apprehended nine individuals involved in human tra cking and rescued three kidnapped Rohingya youths in the Lambari hilly area of Teknaf Upazila, Cox’s Bazar. Responding to intelligence reports regarding the presence of a human tra cking network in the region, APBn swiftly mobilized their forces to carry out the operation. Under the cover of darkness, the highly trained o cers skillfully approached the hideout location, ensuring the safety of the hostages and their own team. The victims, three young Rohingyas who had fallen prey to the nefarious human tracking network, were found in a state of distress but unharmed. Their identities have been kept condential for their protection. The rescued youths will now be provided with the necessary support and care by local authorities and humanitarian organizations.
